The Supa Wild Bird Ground Feeder is ideal for feeding those garden birds that prefer to feed on the ground.
The feeder is constructed from a fine micro wire mesh around a metal rim that allows air to circulate around the food keeping it fresh & dry. In addition, should it rain then water can pass straight through the feeder and on to the floor.
The feeder has only 3 ball feet to provide a stable platform for the garden birds to feed from.
Approximate dimensions are: 18cm (D) x 18cm (W) x 4.5cm (H)
The types of feed you can use with the ground feeder are: Seed mixes, Sunflower Heart, Mealworms, Suet Pellets
Birds that enjoy using the feeder on the ground are Blackbirds, Robins, House Sparrows, Wrens, Chaffinchs, Dunnocks, Thrushs, Blue Tits.
It is always worthwhile cleaning your feeder occasionally with warm water & a mild detergent or a disinfectant solution to avoid a build-up of bacteria.
Ensure in your garden that the wild birds have access to a source of water at all times. The Supa Wild Bird Water Drinker is ideal for this purpose.
