A fast-acting, effective, pesticide-free formula for owners of chickens or aviary birds, our NEW Beaphar Dimethicare Mite Blocker is made with Dimethicone, quickly immobilising parasites on contact and effective against all life-stages of red mites, lice and other external parasites on poultry, aviary birds AND their environment.
A pesticide-free solution, Dimethicare Mite Blocker is made with Dimethicone .
This is a type of silicone that forms a “sticky layer” when it comes into contact with parasites like red mites, lice, fleas and ticks .
This effectively immobilises them, preventing them breathing and ultimately leading to their death .
It also contains added aloe vera, helping to reduce skin irritation and inflammation on poultry and aviary birds, as well as nourishing feathers .
An easy-to-use pump action, low-noise spray , this product is suitable for use from 12 weeks of age, on poultry, aviary birds and their homes.
Directions for Use
For use on birds:
Shake well before use.
Spray against the direction of the feathers, from a distance of 10cm.
Repeat every 5 days.
For use on housing:
Remove birds, drinking and feeding bowls.
Clean the housing. Shake bottle well before use.
Spray two coats on perches, floor and all corners and crevices.
After application, birds, drinking and feeding bowls can be returned.
